Loreta Krizinauskiene started her professional carrier in early 1980s as a local Phare project manager for Banking Community and Technical Assistance for the Financial Sector in Lithuania. In 2002 Loreta was invited to join a private business initiative – association Langas I Ateiti (Window to the Future) in the position of Managing Director and up till now she has been leading the organization. Langas I Ateiti, an ALL DIGITAL member since 2010, is a society modernization initiative launched by private business companies in 2002. Its mission is to promote the safe use of internet and its services. Numerous projects run by the organization are related to the development of basic digital skills. For successful implementation of large scale training projects, Langas I Ateiti has become the winner of numerous awards in the country and EU.
In 2018, Langas I Ateiti and partners led by Information Society Development Committee started implementing a 3-year project “Connected Lithuania: effective, safe, and responsible Lithuanian digital community”, which will encourage and train a large group of LT citizens to use the advantage of the digital transformation. The project is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund and the budget of the Republic of Lithuania.
